kos13 is right, I don't see how something like the lock/unlock feature can be implemented technically And Steve Gibson also mentioned the same problem with trying to implement that feature. I understand the issues trying to comprehend the security model, but until it's proven that we cannot trust it, I'm perfectly fine the way it is today.

Just want to complement kos and anyone else behind this app. It's exactly what's been needed ever since dropbox came into the picture with their centralized model which works great, but unless the stuff you're putting there is encrypted I wouldn't trust it. I've just started testing the sync app with a couple co-workers. We've used AeroFS until now but I don't like the fact that AeroFS has control of our login information. It's not true P2P file syncing. I really hope this product works out, and I'm sure it will.
