What version are you updating from? What error are you seeing? You can also manually obtain the latest build here
it was latest version 1.1.33
There was a nice message update available.
Next error was: "There was a problem downloading BTSync. ..."
works ok now

Hello,
Just wondering: how does this balloon tip Download Complete work in btsync?
As I see a strange behaviour in test setup:
sync 500gb+ (a lot of files) from linux debian to win8 both running 1.1.27
Turning off btsync on linux and win8 after 1 hour still showing Download Complete messages

I upgrade from 1.0.134 and lost all my sync folders ! When I stopped it and restarted it, it asked to upgrade to 1.0.135 and then ask to upgrade to 1.1.27 and when it started it up, there was no longer any folders in my Folders tab.
Is there any way to retrieve the setup that was made before ? It is going to be a real pain to setup it up again as i have to change all secret from all computers I have !!!
I was running it on a Windows 2003 SBS
in previous release notes ?(or something like that) there was a note about that. Upgrading to 1.1.x is different structure

These files are there.
Added all the keys again so it's no problem for me now. It's only a bit strange that all the shares were gone after update

Seen this behaviour on my home laptop syncing workpc
After hybernate laptop, waiting 14 hours, start laptop then there is no sync.
Had to restart it on both machines
update:
laptop running Win 8 x64
workpc running Win 7 x64

After update I see that all shared folders in the programme are gone....
On my disk they are still there but not in the programma anymore

Also i want to avoid sending contents from a node to every other node because downloading will be fastest from the central server.
I think if you use btsync it's even faster when clients download also from other clients! You can maybe use readonly keys so you are sure the files on your server aren't changed

How can I share a folder inside a shared folder?
@ the moment I have a structure like this:
folder1
subf1
subf2
folder2
sub
....
on device 1 and 2 I want to share all of them no problem @ all. But I also want to share subf2 with someone else. How to do this as the wizard cannot create a folder already in sync
