  1. I got BTSync to run on two computers (so far). Both computers are running 64 bit Linux Mint Debian Edition. My observations and problems are as follows: 1. I would have benefitted greatly from instructions explaining how to get BTSync running. It is lucky for me that I found some instructions on BTSync Forum. 2. After starting BTSync on my second computer, I found that a folder (.SyncTrash) and two files (.SyncID and .SyncIgnore) had been created in the BTSync folder (i.e., the folder to be syncronized). No such folder or files were generated on the first computer on which I started BTSync. I don't know if this is the way it is supposed to be or not. This should be explained. 3. For Linux, apparently BTSync is an application that can be run when it is needed, but does not need to be installed. It does need to be rerun, either manually or by a script, after any reboot. That is great as far as I'm concerned. It would probably be good to explain that in the BTSync instructions. 4. When I asked the GUI to generate a Secret, the secret contained characters (0 or O and 1 or L) in a font that would not allow me to distinguish what those characters were. I kept asking for new secrets until I got one with only one ambiguous character. With that secret installed automatically by BTSync on my first computer, I tried it both ways on my second computer, and finally got them to sync. The secret generator really needs to be modified so it generates unambigious secrets. I hope this helps.
