  1. The only thing that changed was I upgraded to the new Sync software, and only one instance is loaded now. The window also comes up if I close Sync and then launch it manually. That didn't happen before this version either, it just loaded into the Menubar and stayed out of my way.
  2. I have Sync set to launch at login and just run in the background, not bothering me. Before version 1.4.72 Sync would launch, its icon would appear in the Mac's Menubar, and nothing else would pop up. Now it launches, the icon appears in the Menubar, and then the big, main Sync window opens. I'd like for that big main window not to open unless I click Open BitTorrent Sync from the Menubar icon, is that possible? Thanks!
  3. I just checked and they are exactly the same.
  4. I have Sync setup between my work and my home Macs. At home last night I spent a few hours updating my website files. When I came in today and turned on my work Mac the two computers synced up. Then when I opened the html file that I worked on last night, ALL of my changes were gone. The History shows where the two files were synced but it was my understanding that the one that is most recently changed would overwrite the older one, not the other way around. Am I missing something? Thanks!
  5. OK, that makes me feel better. One other thing I see, though, is a lot of duplicates. Song Name.mp3 and Song Name1.mp3. Each file an exact duplicate of the other. My fear is that I'm going to wind up with 340GB folders on each Mac when it started out as 170GB.
  6. I decided to use Sync to keep my work and my home music folders synchronized. I set it up and pointed the app at each end to the music folder (each has 170GB of music) and let it do its thing. THe first thing I noticed, though, was that it seemed to delete a lot of music in both folders. Many previously populated folders now show Zero Bytes and are empty when I open them. And a LOT of file transfers are happening, when I know that those two folders probably only had 100 audio files that were not in synch from one Mac to the other. So the question would seem to be, can you use this for two folders with pre-existing, and mostly in sync, files in each? I look forward to your thoughts.
