I wonder if this would work better if one agrees that changes only happen on one computer. I have a laptop that I bring to the office and travel with, and then I have a user account on my girlfriend's desktop at home. I'd like to have my laptop music folder on the desktop as well for playing music at home if my laptop is at the office. I could in theory sync the folders with BitTorrent Sync, and then only add music on one of them. I guess that still leaves the issue with play count and stats adding up on both and causing confusion.
