Hi! I folled the instructions here http://forum.bittorrent.com/topic/18326-start-sync-as-service-on-windows/ and it works well! The only difference is that I wanted it to start as "Local System Account." When it starts I do not know how to open up the GUI to change settings/keys/folders etc. I found where the settings.dat and sync.dat etc are going (C:\Windows\SysWOW64\config\systemprofile\AppData\Roaming\Bittorent Sync) so i copied the config into there and it worked but now how do I make changes to it? add folders? etc? is there any way i can open the gui? or is there a way to manually edit the sync.dat file?

i enabled search dht network and it worked.. why is that off by default? does that need to be checked if its over internet?

Does it take a long time to connect to a peer? Is there anything I should have set on norton firewall to allow connections? I am the DMZ and i have BitTorrent Sync set to allow and my peer and I are using the same key and his firewall is off entirely. Im going to try turning my firewall off entirely but any suggestions would be appreciated.

This is a suggestion. Why not make apps for dropbox and / or box.com as well that way you can share / sync to your dropbox or box as well?
