I'm testing BTSync pretty intensively and tried many different use cases (under ArchLinux, Gnome 3.8). For example, computer is running and btsync syncs just fine, then I disable my WiFi connection, changes few files in the sync directory then enables it back. btsync then would sync those changes over. Now if I disable WiFi, change few filew in the btsync dir, shutdown my computer , reboot without network, wait a little bit then re-enable back WiFi I don't get the files the sync over and thus even after waiting a long time. From that point I no longer seems to be synced to the remote peers. Has anyone seen this behavior? Looking at wireshark I no longer see packets targeting the remote peers, only sos packets on port 3838. I'm thinking about having a cron job to restart btsync from time to time but I think there might be a more elegant solution.
