  1. I use BTSync to sync my code/projects between my main PC, mediacenter and laptop. At any time, there's always 2 of these machines running, so it's perfect for keeping everything synced without even thinking about it. I can just boot up my PC or laptop and the files are already synced before I load up whatever IDE I'm using. This morning, I went on to my PC only to find that the BTSync history was full of messages that the mediacenter had removed all my files. Everything was deleted from my PC, but obviously backed up to the .SyncArchive folder. The reason this happened was that the sync folder on the mediacenter PC is on an external drive. Last night something strange happened to the drive that made it unavailable and this morning I had to unplug the power and plug it back in to get it working again. Luckily, the next sync downloaded all the files again and everything's back to normal. I would still consider this to be a bug because if the drive isn't available it shouldn't class the files as deleted. Personally, I'd check if the drive or sync folder is present and ignore any sync attempts if it isn't. Hopefully someone can consider looking at that? Cheers.
