  1. Haven't used it enough yet in this configuration to say for certain as my NAS drive running BTSync wasn't up to par (spec wise) to work properly with the software, but I will be reconfiguring my setup with a newer, faster unit here shortly and will post back with my results, however, I believe the Master would be the machine to perform all changes overtime from what I could tell.
  2. I believe the answer is yes, all machines will still perform the synchronization, with the "master" machine providing all the changes but the "slaves" performing transfers of files as well.
  3. Hello, Managed to get BitTorrent Sync working on my D-Link DNS 343 recently, however the app just doesn't seem to actually be transferring any files, even though it detects the changes, states that it has XX MB to upload but the kB/s up and kB/s down are always at 0 kB/s, and the log file doesn't really indicate what is occurring in terms of the transfers not happening, but that it is always "Merge: will request files for" or "Merge: processing nodes message for" with the remote machine. I have BTSync configured to a port which is open in my firewall, and I know the remote machine can see my NAS without issue and it is not using a relay server, so I cannot for the life of me figure out why the transfers are not happening. Maybe this NAS is just too old of a POS to handle it... grrrr...
  4. I have a question regarding use of the read-only sharing within Btsync: If I have a machine set as the "master", and sync to several other machines using the read-only key, will these machines transfer across to the other machines to keep the data in sync IF the Master machine goes offline? Meaning, do the machines setup using a read-only key still work in the P2P scope of things, sending files across to all other machines that are connected under the same key, or is the Master unit the only one that handles the transfers then? Just curious Thank you.
