  1. TL;DR you want symlinking support, right?
  2. Make sure that the share you want to re-add to Sync is not still in the Sync GUI visible. If so, remove the share from the Sync GUI and then try to re-add it again.
  3. http://forum.bittorrent.com/topic/41448-setting-up-preferences-in-225/#entry112160
  4. Can you right click in the bar where the other tabs are? Are you getting a pop up with more options to add additional tabs?
  5. There is no built in functionality for scheduling as of right now, you may search for a thread in the "Feature Request" forum and add your voice there.
  6. It always takes some time to prepare and then ship the builds to NAS vendors - the Sync Team is already on it and will ship it to them soon.
  7. It would not resync all the data. It would re-index and then compare with your other peers sharing the same folder. Everything that would've been new would be synced but not the entire thing if you stil have the data. You should be fine re-adding it in sync
  8. No with keys, only possible with the advances folders
  9. A quick search for "Disconnect" on help.getsync.com got me: http://help.getsync.com/customer/en/portal/articles/1901248-folder-synchronization-modes?b_id=3895 ;-)
  10. Well I guess I would contact support and have them look at the whole debug log of both machines to determine what's going on. They have the tools to examine those logs - I don't.. Sorry :/ Maybe someone else has another idea what it could be
  11. No you won't have to re-sync your data. Maybe Sync has to create or re-create the index for your data but that is all.. Also I advise to update all your peers to the latest version available since there have been a lot of bugfixes since 2.0!
  12. Here is a help article that lists all information regarding what is being accessed by Sync: http://help.getsync.com/customer/en/portal/articles/1953387-what-ports-and-protocols-are-used-by-sync- That hostname looks like it is part of this paragraph: Can you also check in the preferences of the shares that all checkboxes are unchecked? To do that, go into your Sync GUI and right click on your share and open up the preferences and there you will see if it is using Relay or Tracker server.
  13. The only limitation would be RAM... IIRC sync uses 1KB per file in RAM. But sync should definitely be able to sync that much data...
  14. Dude you know that this is the competing product to Syncthing, right? lol But I can give you support: Uninstall Syncthing and install BitTorrent Sync! You can find all information here: http://help.getsync.com/customer/portal/articles/1888507-synology You need to download this package for your NAS: avoton (x64) (https://download-cdn.getsync.com/2.2.1/Synology/bittorrentsync_avoton_2.2.1-1.spk direct link to install the package manually)
  15. Sorry I don't think so. If you can't find a download on getsync.com there probably is none. Also, out of curiosity, why would you still use that old thing?
  16. Also if you are in an office setup, make sure that the relay and tracker server are not being blocked! Sync is trying to discover peers with that and this could also lead to a share not syncing since it can't see other peers.
  17. Ok you might also contact the support staff with this link http://support.getsync.com/anonymous_requests/new They also might be able to help you out! Maybe you are not allowed to install stuff into %Appdata% as per restrictions
  18. Yes, that is for My Devices, but you can just send a link or QR code to your other machines to sync a folder.
  19. Ok so first and foremost: what others versions of Sync are you using in your setup? Are they all on 2.2.1? Are you able to update them on 2.2.3 (which is, as of right now, the latest version available) ?
  20. Yes! That could definitely cause that! So it should, at least, be able to connect to both tracker and relay server in order to discover other peers. You can also add peers to folders manually if they have a static ip or if they are accessible via hostname
  21. That is the general idea behind Sync to have a share and almost as many peers can have access to it as you want. This seems to be a connectivity/discovery bug. Maybe your work pc is behind some sort of firewall disabling the discovery of other peers? Also this should go into the troubleshooting forum instead of "general"
  22. This forum is about Bittorrent Sync. Please go to the forum for the product you are using.
