  1. I don't know about the internal memory data directory but the data directory on Ext SD was deleted when I uninstalled BT Sync on my Note 3 running andriod 4.4.2. I only sync to an Ext SD card.
  2. RomanZ, I have opened a case and sent logs to support. https://syncapp.zend...m/requests/9504
  3. RomanZ, I have sent Android and Windows clients logs as requested. Request ID is 9504. https://syncapp.zendesk.com/requests/9504
  4. RomanZ, I can try that but I am curious as to why on restart of the Windows client then Android client is able to see it until the Android client leaves the LAN and come back or after a long time time of being idle then it can't see the Windows client until I restart the Windows clients. Also if it was binding on the wrong interface then why are the Windows client always able to see each other without issues. Looking at the log for the Windows clients I see it using the correct LAN IP, what I can't see from the log is which interface its binding on. If it was binding on the wrong nic then would it not use the wrong IP?
  5. RomanZ I do have multiple virtual interfaces. What is confusing is that on a fresh restart of the Windows clients, every client sees each other fine. Eventually the Android client will stop seeing the other Windows client while the Windows client still sees each other. You had mentioned an issue with Auto-Sleep function which I disabled and it started working again until I leave the house and come back at which point Android can't see the Windows clients, or over a long period of time (8 hours when i checked the Android client again). The odd thing is that restarting the Android client does not fix the problem. I have to restart the Windows clients then all clients talk to each other until I either leave the local LAN and come back or after an extended amount of time. Since there is a new desktop version I will upgrade to that and see if the problem is correct. Also I do have one share that has Use tracker server enabled and that share never has a problem even when the Search Lan only shares disappear. If I had to take a wild guess I would be guessing that the LAN discovery process either on the Windows or Android side has a problem. This never had this issue on BT sync 1.2.x code, only started with 1.3.77 and 1.3.80.
  6. Thank you for the clarification. I understand that part. What I was wondering is: 1) With Auto-Sleep on - why does it no longer see the other clients when it wakes up and other clients do not see it. Exiting the app on Android via the menu and relaunching it does not correct the problem, it cannot see other clients and other clients cannot see it. The only way to get it to see the other clients is restarting the other clients. 2) I disabled Auto-Sleep as suggested and it worked until I left the house and came back then it no longer saw the other clients and again the only way to get it to work again was to restart the other clients, restarting the Android client does not fix the problem. Mobile Data is set to off. 3) With Auto-Sleep off and leaving the phone overnight, when I check in the morning it again stopped seeing other clients until they were restarted, again restarting the Android client does not fix the problem. The interesting part is this only happens to shares that are set to Search Lan only. I have another share that has Search Lan and Use tracker server and it does not have any issues. Throughout the entire testing the share with Search Lan and Use tracker server always was seen by Android and Windows client. Only appears to be a problem with Shares that are set to Search Lan only. BTW this was working fine in 1.2.x. Kind Regards, Suntear
  7. Update: I left my house and was out for a bit, when I came back I check the BT sync client on Android and noticed that it can no longer see the Windows client. I have BT sync set to not use Cellular Data so that it only syncs on Wifi.
  8. RomanZ, I turned off auto-sleep and it no longer has the problem. Looks like that was the problem and required restarting Windows client before Android would see them again.
  9. RomanZ, Yes it is on. I will turn this off and restart my BT Sync clients on Windows and retest. BTW once Android stops seeing the other Windows client, the only want for it to see it again is to restart the Windows client. Restarting the Android client does not correct the issue.
  10. I reported this months ago and it never got much attention. From what I can tell any file over 4GB will not sync to Android at all even if the external SD card is formatted exFat which supports files bigger than 4GB. My workaround was to run an FTP server on Android to transfer files larger than 4GB or use a file manager on Android that supports SMB share and copy it to external SD card. I do not think its a limitation of Android because I can copy files larger than 4GB onto the external SD card fine using another program just not BT sync. Happens on Android 4.3 and 4.4 with BT sync 1.2.x and 1.3.77/1.3.80.
  11. Hello I have been having an issue since upgrading to Android version 1.3.19 and Windows desktop version 1.3.77 and 1.3.80. The Android client has issues seeing the Windows desktop client (both version 1.3.77 and 1.3.80) when on the LAN. The folder properties is set to Search Lan, no other options. This folder is to only sync when the Android client is on the LAN. If I enable Use tracker server than Android client has no problem seeing Windows Desktop client. I don't want to sync this folder when not on the LAN. This only started happen since upgrading to 1.3.77 and still is a problem in 1.3.80. If end Windows client and restart it then Android client will see if but then after going to sleep for a while if I open Android client again it no longer sees the Windows clients.

  13. Internal is ext3 formatted and I have 23GB free, external microSD is formatted exfat which can handle > 4gb files, I have several files on there > 10gb. MicroSD card is 64 GB in size and I have 34GB free so it's not a space issue or file system issue. PC will try to transfer but nothing is transferred I see 0 kB/s up and down.
  14. Hello I am a new user to BitTorrent Sync and love the product it's very simple and I am keeping 1.5 TB of data synced between 3 computers (2 PC and 1 Mac). I just added Android to the mix and am seeing mixed results. For files under 4GB there is no problem syncing to and from Android. Files over 4GB does not seem to by syncing from or to Android. I have tried both internal storage and microSD card. Is this a defect in BitTorrent Sync? I am using desktop version 1.2.68 and Android version 1.2.9. I also noticed inconsistent results when syncing to Android. Some times adding files to be synced to Android works right away even if BitTorrent is running in the background. Other times I have to open the App and make it run in the foreground for it to start syncing. I have activity check set to every 30 minutes under Auto Sleep on Android and have waited past 30 min to see if it would wake up and sync but doesn't seem like it. Only having the App opened seems to always work. I am running this on a Note 3 with Android version 4.3. Kind Regards.
