  1. None of the downloads for Windows carries any version/release information in their names. Please re-insert version information into the naming conventions. It helps when you want to keep older versions. BTW you could rename this thread to "Latest Desktop Build 2.1.1".
  2. Downloaded version from direct link above carries the version number.
  3. On Windows you can use a junction. Syntax: mklink [[/D] | [/H] | [/J]] link target /D – Creates a directory symbolic link. Default is a file symbolic link. /H – Creates a hard link instead of a symbolic link. /J – Creates a Directory Junction. link – Specifies the new symbolic link name. target – Specifies the path (relative or absolute) that the new link refers to. So you go to:C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Roamingopen a command-window with administrator rights and issue (as an example): mklink /J "BitTorrent Sync" "D:\WHEREVER_YOU_WANT_THIS\BitTorrent Sync" Have this running here, works just fine.
  4. Environment: Windows 8.1, all patches. I was on 1.1.82 and upgraded to 1.2.73 1.2.73 showed high CPU load of 12 - 15% and did not recognize all files. To make sure, I restored the system, uninstalled 1.1.82, (delete settings) and deleted the .synchID file as well. The following fresh 1.2.73 install showed the same symptoms: High CPU-load, recognizing only 2395 file out of 11.485. No other application was open. Uninstalled 1.2.73, deleted .synchID, installed 1.1.82, recognizing 11.485 files and everything was OK! By the way, all 1.2.x versions showed high CPU-load here. Any ideas?
