I didn't do anything special on /usr/local/bittorentsync/ What should I do to fix that ? Note: You can note the time gap from 09:08 crash, then restarted at 09:50.
  3. I am getting the same issue with a Sync 2.0 update. I removed 1.4 folders, then readd in my iMac and did the same in my Synology NAS DS214 using the link from my iMac instance in the same folder. Now I get this message. I were previously using SynoCommunity 1.4 version and BtSync was run with the sc-btsync user that were in the sc-btync group. Now I don't know which user is used, and don't see a group neither. I opened the package and can't find this information in the scripts. My folders on my NAS are in /volume1/Sync and I don't know who need persmissions (users group and admin already have). I tried to use ssh on my NAS to discover users or group but didn't success. Any idea that could help me ? Alternatively, any idea how I could reset the ownership or something ? Tell me if you need more information.
  4. +1 for this. It's a pain in the ass to edit my 10 folders on all 5 devices (10*5=50 edits... ouch)
  5. Related http://forum.bittorrent.com/topic/32021-create-sc-btsync-group-in-dsm-for-easy-folder-permissions-synology/
  6. I've executed this 2 commands sucessfully, then I've given permission to the created group over /volumes1/homes/{me} but when I try to "Connect a folder" into btsync synology gui, I'm having the message "Don't have permissions to write to selected folder." Any idea ?
  7. Getting the exact same problem. I've 2 users for now (my wife & I) and I want to simply sync some folder in /volume1/homes/*/* & some commons in /volume1/* but it's not doable with SynoCommunity package
  8. Is there any particular reason? A technical one? Because OS X is based on Unix so I don't understand why...
