I am syncing several folders between a Linux server and an OSX machine. When I change the case of a directory (e.g., "folder name" to "Folder Name") on the OSX machine, the Linux machine simply creates the directory "Folder Name" without deleting the original "folder name".
For what it's worth, the Linux filesystem is ext4.
