I apologize I forgot to provide that information. I did what you said by reinstalling the software, then uninstalling it. It correctly uninstalled this time. If it helps I was using Windows 8.1. I'm not sure what version of Sync.

I uninstalled BitTorrent Sync and now it keeps notifying me to install the newest version. What do I do to resolve this? The pop-ups are annoying and I don't want to reinstall it.
