  1. Hi,

I can't update Resilio on my nas (DS118).

I think it's because support give me a beta version called 2.5.10050-1 and the new version is 2.5.11-1. So, I think, thats considers my installed version is newer than the real new one.

See the uploaded picture : " the current version of the package is 2.5.10050-1. you can go back to the previous version 2.5.11-1."

When I check OK, nothing is happening : DSM doesn't install the package.

  2.

    Important: Use at own risk!

New better solution, which will maybe added in the next SynoCommunity BitTorrent Sync release!

    What you need:

    Short explanation:

We create a group, which member will be the btsync user. So you can easily give permissions over the DSM.

    What to do:

    • Stop the btsync package.
    • Connect with SSH to your Synology, login as root and use the admin password.
    • Run this two commands:

synogroup --add sc-btsync btsyncsynogroup --descset sc-btsync "SynoCommunity's BitTorrent Sync group"
    • Start the btsync package.
    • Now you can give permissions via Control Panel -> Group.

    THANK YOU !

  3. Hi all,

At start sorry for my bad english, I'll try to do my best.

I have a Synology Station and 2 PCs with Windows 7, the 3 computers sync a tree of 7 folders.

I installed the Bitsync packet (http://www.synocommunity.com/packages) and the last client on my PCs.

Sync is working good for all folders but I have a problem with 1 folder of my tree :

    • When I paste a folder with files inside in one of my PCs : it's syncing correctly between the PCs but it just write an empty folder in my Synology station
    • But when I paste the same folder directly in my Synology Station it's syncing correctly between the Synology Station and the PCs.

It makes me some white hairs...  so a little help is welcome :D

By the way, thank you very much for this awesome software
