Hi there.. we are using Bittorrent sync with much success in an Agency that produces TV Shows and Event visuals with much success.... and now we have a workflow question... We would like to have two or three machine in the Network to sync all Files for a Project (wich tend to be gigantic) .. for the Work machines where we produce the Visuals we would love to not have all Project Files (like Administration and final files).. soo we thought about doing the following setup: One Folder containing all Files gets synced with a key.. on the Big machines one of the Subfolder we need to work on the Visuals itself gets another sync with another key... Basically it is like a Usermanagement, so one would say that user can only sync that subfolder, another one can sync the whole folder... as I see there is anything like that implemented in v2, but not for subfolders... So the question ist.. would that setup work? is there any problem that you see in doing so? Thank you

How is the state of the Bittorrent for ReadyNAS? No update to see anywhere..?? Would love to update on all machines.. What happens If I use 106 on every machine but 105 stays on my Ready NAS?

ok, i can look into that.... Thanks so far.. after a week, it is now finished Syncing so it looks....

The Problem is that NetGear has not released an update to 1.3.106 ... so I am stuck with what they have on their App Store :-( On one Computer that is syncing the Memory Footprint is About 216 MB .. but it has more folders to sync. But still, for some reason things get very slow, the more files there are..

Hello All I copied all the Files of one file server to a brand New ReadyNAS 104 (about 3 Terabytes of files). After that I tried several times to let it finish sync (it only compares the Files, as I see it, there are no data copied). It always starts very fast, but after a while it takes forever to sync as more and more files are inside the dataset.. any thoughts on that? The idea is that the ReadyNAS creates a exact Copy of my Business Files at home, so I have an automated Offside Backup. The ReadyNAS has only 512 MB RAM. I suspect, that it cannot cope with a Database for 120'000 Files in 3 Terabyte of date.. could that be the reason? Any other ideas? regards, Urs
