  1. The problem still exists in Sync 2.0
  2. This is backwards. The file Edward Jones.pdf was renamed to Edward Jones 20141114.pdf Thanks!
  3. 1.4.93 is available. I actually got a popup asking if I wanted to download and install. Thanks!
  4. @toby00001: I don't see Rescan Interval in the GUI interface on the FS. Do you see it on the 5N? I do see it on my Mac. It is under Advanced, More options... Thanks, Dennis
  5. Can you give us an idea of what is coming in 1.4? Please, please, please...
  6. @toby00001: Performance on the FS is pretty slow. Your 5N has 1 gig of ram and the FS has 256 meg of ram. I don't know if the cpu is more powerful. The folders I am sharing are pretty large with lots of files. Using terminal to login to the FS, when I run the top command I can see the processes chewing up memory and cpu. There is not lots of margin. I expect indexing is chewing it up. There is a parameter that controls the interval between indexing scans. Normally it is 10 minutes. That parameter is not available via the WebUI. folder_rescan_interval I am not even sure the indexing scan completes before the next should start. If you could recompile and set the default to something like once per day I would appreciate it. I have multiple computers that would push files to the FS via BTsync. I would not drop files directly into the shared directories. Thanks
  7. @toby00001: Thanks for doing this. I was using the method on the DroboPorts site. I am at 1.3.106 now. I have an issue with the WebUI now. It won't accept the creds I created. It did, but it won't now. I have 1.3.106 running on a Mac Mini, an iMac, 2 Hackintosh, and the DroboFS. My documents directory and installs directory are shared. Things work well. The high data transfer on one of the Hacks revealed a problem with an ethernet kext. It would cause the computer to freeze. The problem was not BTsync. I am very happy with the software. Thanks for your efforts. Dennis
  8. @moe. Thanks for the Drobo update script. I know there is a hidden .syncignore file installed on the Mac version. I looked at the contents of it. On the PDF files in my documents directory, it seems to be passing filename.pdf/apple.com.finderinfo. Do I really need to be syncing thar? I know that is Apple metadata. I really just want to sync the content of the PDF. Any problem with not syncing metadata? What are most Mac users doing? Thanks. Dennis
  9. Updating the Macs to 1.3.106 went without a hitch. I just installed over the top of the existing 1.3.106. The DroboFS has 1.3.105 running on it. It was installed using the procedure found here: http://www.droboports.com/app-repository/btsync-1-0-132 The first time through, it installed 1.2.something. It was noticed at the gui. I reinstalled using the procedure in the link, but replaced btsync binary with 1.3.105, and patched permissions before launching the service. DroboFS uses a common Framework for all of the DroboApps. This can be seen in the link above. My question now is this: Now that I have 1.3.105 installed, can I just stop the service and replace the btsync binary in place? Thanks
  10. I am new to BTsync. To install 1.3.106, can I just install over 1.3.105? I have 1.3.105 installed on a couple of Macs and a DroboFS. If installed over the top, will all my Secrets be ok? Thanks
