Hello, i just upgraded to the new ipad pro and it’s clear the resilio sync ios app doesn’t support the new screen size properly. When will it pls be updated?

So any insight from the sync support team on whether this build (2.6.0) is the best one for a fresh install (vs the old 2.5.13 build)?

I am a long-time paying user to sync between my windows laptop and ios devices, this weekend I will migrate to a new computer, and will do a fresh resilio sync install & resync between my computer and ios devices. Is the 2.6.0 version sufficiently stable, ie the best version to use now for a fresh install or should I go with 2.5 still?

It’s all sort of files... I do use MS office apps. See attached screenshot of one regular / normal file and the rest being these ghost files that don’t exist on the computer.

I have resilio syncing files between my W10 comp and iOS devices with selective sync disabled (so i have everything offline synced). I now have a ton of "grayed out" files, many of them historical temp files (starting with "~"), showing on my ios devices as "downloading". They do not exist on the W10 directory, i checked even hidden files. How to clean this up / prevent this from happening in the future?

When i do “check upgrade”, my resilio sync (win10) running at 2.5.8 show it can upgrade to 2.5.9. What is this about? I can’t find any mention of 2.5.9 anywhere. The change log notes show the same as were for the upgrade from .7 to .8.

I am a long-time BTS user (the one-time-fee paid version) on Win10 / iOS. I have noticed that my Win10 machine quite often crashes with high 40-50% CPU usage from BTS despite having nothing to sync - when this happens, it won't open with righ-click and i have to terminate the process. This seems to happen when I connect my laptop to the internet via CELLULAR (I have not noticed this on wifi, but maybe that's just because on wifi it's connected to power so i don't notice the battery drain). What could it be / what could i do to help diagnose the problem (which logs / where to send)?

I have Resilio Sync app on iPad, with app protection by passcode/TouchID enabled. I usually use iPad in landscape (horizontal) mode with the keyboard accessory and experience two issues:
1) Minor issue: upon starting the RS app, the passcode keypad shows up at 90 degree angle, as if ipad was in portrait mode
2) More major issue: after unblocking the app with touchid, the app jumps correctly into landscape mode for about 1 second, only to then jump into portrait mode and remain there, rendering it hardly usable (text is rotated 90 degrees). The only way to fix it is to take the ipad, turn it 90 degrees to portrait mode and then right back to landscape mode, at which point the app fixes itself to landscape mode.
Is there a way for me to fix it on my end? If not, could you pls try to fix this bug in the app?

Hi, how are you doing on fixing this / when can we expect a fix? There have been several versions of the iOS app since our discussion, and the problem with incorrect size is still present even in yesterday's version.

Guys, are there any plans to enable background syncing ("background refresh") for iOS apps? It's so great to have my hard drive on my ios devices but not great to have to open sync regularly to make sure it's up to date..

Hello. I have never been able to see the BTS app sync size (including data store!) in the settings / usage menu of the iPhone or ipad. That issue remains now with the resilio app. How can I see the data+app size in the ios settings menu?

Thanks, Helen. Let me phrase differently: can i remove original BTS install right after the "migration" / resyncing starts on Resilio on the device?

Thank you. What if I do NOT have enough free space for a new resync while old one remains? (I have selective sync off for everything). How should I proceed?

Helen, what is the rough ETA for the fixed version of the app?

Exactly. It happens when you start the app from background, it is fixed by stopping &restarting, but then it happens again when the app is inactive in the background for some time (i presume after ios stops giving it processor time). Great, many thanks for working on fixing it, right now quite inconvenient to use..

Thank you, Helen. In the end I had Dan from your support resolve it for me via teamviewer. As for what the status was for your troubleshooting purposes: I only had the BTS directory there with all the config files, the Resilio one was almost empty (except for the executable of Resilio Sync). Dan said he faced exact same issue on his home computer.

Yet again, upgrade issues with BTS.
The following just happened:
1) Clicking "Check upgrade" found the upgrade to 2.4 and i started the process
2) I confirmed that the Resilio will replace BTS
3) I confirmed that the "app" can make changes in my computer
4) Then i got "Uninstall failed" message and everything exited
5) Upon restart of the computer, neither 2.4 nor 2.3 seem to be installed installed :(((
So - given that this is the "owner" computer, what do I do now in order to avoid having to recreate my identity and resync 2 GB of files across all my devices?

Since upgrading iOS app to 2.3.5 this morning, i have an issue where the folders on the left side don't show at all, ie the app looks like there are no folders connected. Upon closing the app (via slide up in app view), it seems to return on restart and work ok. Anyone else seeing it / knows how to resolve?

I have one BTS Pro Personal license that I use on my ecosystem of W10, ios devices and Synology. This way I have a backup of my computer on synology (and the ios devices). Now I want to back up my second computer to the same Synology, by installing BTS on that computer. How can I set it up in a way that both computers sync to the Synology while each computer stays "invisible" to the other, ie without using the same identity? If I install BTS on second computer with same identity, the two computers will "see" each others content. If I create a new identity on second computer, i understand that the first identity on the Synology will get replaced and only second computer will back up there.. Many thanks in advance for any pointers.

RomanZ, all - any plans to fix the landscape mode for passcode entry on the ipad? Right now when ipad is in landscape mode (which the ipad app also recognizes/supports), the passcode screen is in portrait mode. Plus any plans to introduce landscape mode on the iphone?

On a new Synology disk station, the Resilio Sync package seems to have created a directory called "Resilio Sync", which however is invisible to me (the admin). This means i cannot see what's inside, and most importantly, i cannot back it up! How can i get privileges to this directory?
