  1. Thanks, Harold. What should I do, in this case? Just upgrade the version on the laptop?
  2. I should have used these forums several months ago, when I installed BTSync on both my laptop and netbook to sync them together. Well, turns out I haven't figured out how to do that yet. Now, it's even more urgent, as Internet connection doesn't work anymore on my laptop, and I need to sync folders with my netbook in order to work on my projects without hassle. My laptop is an Acer running on Debian 3.8.13-1 x86_64 GNU/Linux. Has BitTorrent Sync 1.2.82 installed. My netbook is an Asus running on Linux Mint 14 "Nadia" i686 GNU/Linux. Has BitTorrent Sync 1.3.109 [Linux i386(glibc 2.3)] installed. Both computers are on the same LAN. Under "Preferences" on the laptop, I configured port 5156 for listening and I left the UPnP option up. For the netbook, I used the same configuration, but with port 56875. My Problems When I checked the admin panel of my home router, I noticed the same IP was assigned for both computers and the ports (more precisely, it was the netbook's IP). I changed it manually, but had to change the rule name, too, so I'm not sure if this is affecting the sync. The laptop doesn't see the netbook as a device; the netbook doesn't see the laptop either.Following the advice posted in other threads on this forum, I disabled relay, tracker and DHT, but I left the "Search LAN" option up.I added NETBOOK-IP:56875 as a predefined host on my laptop's BTSync; added LAPTOP-IP:5156 on my netbook.... Nothing works. The computers don't sync... Can you help me figure this out? Thanks in advance for your time. ~ Luana
