  1. That wasn't there some days ago ... Now testing with: "folder_rescan_interval" : 86400, "config_refresh_interval" : 86400, "config_save_interval" : 86400,
  2. Not working ... on Synology NAS (ARM) Added "folder_rescan_interval" : 86400,to sync.conf ...
  3. Thanks for the update. Listening port is not changing anymore. Is https activated by default now? Have you sen this thread: http://forum.bittorrent.com/topic/32118-add-support-for-crt-files-for-ssl-certificate/
  4. This should be fixed in Version 1.4.93 ...
  5. Hi, it would be very nice when it would be possible to use crt files for https. Because Synology devices saves the ssl cert as crt file. Thanks. Bye, Andreas
  6. Could the "listen port not saved bug" be fixed fast? This is very annoying and a problem for users which using packages of btsync (Like that from SynoCommunity) and make it nearly unusable.
  7. When you have problems with the rights of the btsync user you can use this little tutorial to make the btsync user visible in the DSM, where you can comfortably give him rights for specific folders: http://forum.bittorrent.com/topic/32021-show-btsync-user-in-dsm-synology/
  8. Important: Use at own risk! New better solution, which will maybe added in the next SynoCommunity BitTorrent Sync release! What you need: A Synology DiskStationBitTorrent Sync Beta installed over SynoCommunity (https://synocommunity.com/)SSH must be activated (http://forum.synology.com/wiki/index.php/Enabling_the_Command_Line_Interface)A SSH client (Putty: http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/download.html)Short explanation: We create a group, which member will be the btsync user. So you can easily give permissions over the DSM. What to do: Stop the btsync package.Connect with SSH to your Synology, login as root and use the admin password.Run this two commands: synogroup --add sc-btsync btsyncsynogroup --descset sc-btsync "SynoCommunity's BitTorrent Sync group"Start the btsync package. Now you can give permissions via Control Panel -> Group.
  9. http://syncapp.bittorrent.com/1.4.82 -> File not found.
  10. https://github.com/SynoCommunity/spksrc/wiki/Architecture-per-Synology-model For 88f6282 use 88f6281.
  11. I made an fix for this problem. Need people to test it: https://github.com/SynoCommunity/spksrc/issues/1229#issuecomment-55343627
  12. Hi snowboard, for 88f6282 please use the 88f6281 package. The package is working on 88f6281 and 88f6282 devices. I updated my post: http://www.andreasgiemza.de/allgemein/bittorrent-sync-1-3-109-for-synology-nas/ Bye, Andreas
  13. djsuperstore asked how he could downgrade ... Will this package always be up to date? I'm asking because the QNAP package is still version 1.3.106: http://www.qnap.com/i/useng/app_center/con_show.php?op=showone&internalName=BitTorrentSync&version=1.3.106&down_1_name=TS-NASX86&jump_win=1
  14. Hi adam1k and djsuperstore, the Synology package is only a wrapping for the btsync binary. So I have no clue why it isn't working. When you want to downgrade and wait for a more advance release, I have built the 1.3.109 version for several Synology models. But I think I read that 1.3 is not working with 1.4. So you have to downgrade alls your NAS. Here can you find the 1.3.109 version: http://www.andreasgiemza.de/allgemein/bittorrent-sync-1-3-109-for-synology-nas/ I hope this helps. Bye, Andreas
  15. Not really a sync story, but I need support: http://forum.bittorrent.com/topic/31456-welcome-to-sync-stories/
  16. Sorry, my english isn't the best ... I only have connection problems (Sometimes the sync stops without reason and after some time it starts again. Don't know why ...), no actual sync problems. In the new version you can see which files are on queue to be synced, and there are only new files.
  17. Yes, at the moment I'm hosting renamed files on my webspace. so that I can still use the build scripts from spksrc. But this getting on my nerves ... We should write emails directly to the BitTorrent team, because at the moment we are ignored. I don't understand why the downloads aren't available on http://syncapp.bittorrent.com/1.4.75 anymore ... EDIT: Or we should post here every day so this topic becomes hot ....
  18. Don't upgrade. I got some sync issues, it isn't working as good as before. Connection is often lost, don't know why. But it is working and I'm to lazy to downgrade. I like the new gui. My setup is very simple: Synology DS410j ---> Synology DS413j (Only read key ...) One folder with 1433.39 GB. About 1100 GB was already on the DS413j and BtSync synced the rest. Which was very nice because it only synced the missing files, thats the reason why i use btsync. For the connection i only use predefined hosts.
  19. SynoCommunity BitTorrent Sync Package was updated to 1.4.72. To the BitTorrent team: We still need links with a version number in the filename ... Please check: http://forum.bittorrent.com/topic/31270-recommended-download-link-for-linux-packagers/
  20. Hi, I have the same problem as fearedbliss. I'm helping to maintain the spksrc which makes BitTorrent Sync available on Synology's NAS over SynoCommunity. And i would also like it when the new version would be available under http://syncapp.bittorrent.com/1.4.72! Bye, Andreas
