I have a file on 3 Mac devices. I want BitTorrent to sync them all when I make a change on one of them. This a.m. I edited a file on my iPad and was wondering how that change gets synced into my iPhone and Macbook without me doing anything else. Do I have to "Disconnect" the folder and then go through the process of Adding a folder to each device to get the change?

My wife and I don't trust the cloud anymore and found several recommendations for Bit Torrent Sync. We have 6 Macs (iMac, 2 iPads, MacBook, & 2 iPhones). We want to sync important files on these Macs without using the "Cloud". I downloaded Bit Torrent Sync for my ipad but I'm stuck now. I want to create a folder to hold 2 very important files. When I click on "Add Folder" it asks me for a key while my ipad camera is scanning the room. Can someone talk me thru the process?
