Hi, Are there plans to make a version of Bittorrent Sync for Chromebooks/chrome os? Or does anybody know how you can get it running? I'm considering buying a chromebook but not knowing if i will be able to get sync running is holding me back. And does the processor-type (x86 or something else) matter for sync? thanks

Hi, I use the android version of the app, so i don't know if this issue is also relevant for the IOS app. When i sync pictures on my smartphone i don't get any thumbnails or previews, only the filename. That would be a great addition, but what i really would like to see implemented is to be able to scroll through all the images full screen. When i open an image it opens with my default set app to view images. Because all the pictures are locally stored on my android phone i would like to be able to go through all the images. Now i have to close the image viewing app, select another picture, view it, close the app again, select another picture... I don't know if this is android related behavior, because dropbox is able to swipe through all your pictures full screen, but i think they use a build-in image viewer... regards, NimdaBE

i have the exact same issue/question... I want to be able to remove a file from the local storage of my phone, without the "deletion" being synched to all other devices. Setting the folder on my phone with a read-only key isn't an option because a want to be able to manually add files from my phone to this folder. As a reference: the "starring-system" in the dropbox app does exactly that: you mark the files that you want to be offline available on your phone. Un-starring it doesn't remove it from all synched devices, but merely removes it from the local storage of the phone...
