  1. OK I have log file. Seems I don't have permissions to send direct messages. To give you a link to download the file. The 800 to 900 Mbps is not using sync from my Mac Mini and Dell. It is via cifs/smb file share.
  2. Folders are standard. I do not have a pro license for either NAS. Syncing directly between the NAS's, they are on the same switch and sit right next to each other. I am able to get 800 to 900 Mbps if transferring files between my Mac Mini or Dell desktop, which are also on the same switch. Where can I find log files for Sync on ReadyNAS? I looked in /var/log, nothing there. Also nothing in the btsync directory. (OS 6 not supported on legacy models e.g. Ultra 4+ https://community.netgear.com/t5/Using-your-ReadyNAS/OS6-now-works-on-x86-Legacy-WARNING-NO-NTGR-SUPPORT/td-p/897021 )
  3. Hello, Not getting more than 15MB/s Trying to sync a directory between two ReadyNAS's. From a 316 to an Ultra 4+ (running unsupported OS 6) I've tried changing settings... * turned off encrypt over LAN * bind to ethernet adapter (didn't work) * Set MTU to jumbo frames * Set known hosts Nothing seems to work. Thoughts, hints, tips? Thanks
  4. Yes I poked around first to see what topics there were. All of the questions are based around questions of privacy. "How secure is it", "share the key via trusted methods", etc. Many of these types of questions are being asked by people who don't understand the fundamentals of much of today's technology that they use on a daily basis That's not what I asked. I simply want to know if there is a way to manually increase the level of encyption of data in transit. I can specify a minimum level of encryption of an IPSec VPN tunnel, the higher the encryption, the slower it performs, etc. I'd like to have the choice. Now if I can do that via a config file in linux or registry key in windows. That's what I want to know. Thanks
  5. I'm just curious if there's a way to increase the encryption level?
