  1. How do I make a process sample? Right now I am syncing maybe 10 or so folders (may 100GB) into the spankin' new and empty folders on this macbook. So you'd expect not too much hashing since it just needs to copy the files from the remote peers. Maybe the MacBook is crooked, I dunno... This type of fan noise I usually just get when I am rendering. Ah, I figured it out. Here are three process samples... Archiv.zip
  2. Yesterday evening got my new MacBook Pro up and running, installed Bittorrent Sync Pro and enabled syncing of my favorite folders. Ever since my MacBook feels the need to let the fans run. I thought it was another process at first but no - it's Bittorrent Sync alright. I'll attach some screenshots below. The Programm keeps the CPU busy like there is now tomorrow. Is that, because it has to sync so many folders for the first time? Still it shouldn't bring my battery life down from 9 to 1,5 hours, should it? Dropbox - which started syncinc at the same time uses far less energy. Has someone had similar experiences with Sync? Using BT Sync 2.1.1
  3. Hi Hungarianhc, thanks für the quick help. That worked! I kinda must say, that I like 2.0. For me the single feature that people I share folders with don't can't see the key of the folder is worth the money already, so I am a happy camper now!
  4. Ok, so I just messed something up. I have two identities - one "corporate" for my servers (PRO Liscence) and one "private", which is pretty well connected to my corporate shares but has some private shared folders as well. Now I connected one of my computers to my corporate identity, but want to change that to my private identity instead. How do I do that? uninstall and try again? Unsure of how to proceed..
  5. Ok - 10 folder limitation and price point discussions set aside a more practical question I am still on 1.4 because - you know: FEAR! I am rather willing to pay the 40 bucks because I use BTSync a lot. I have a very fine grained folder syncing structure and am distributing these individual folders to colleagues, business associates etc. I am really excited about the ability to invite somebody without giving them the possibility to invite other people, to be able to withdraw permissions, etc. - in short I will love to pro features! But - if I update to 2.0 now and go pro to keep my 20 folders and I want a friend that has a free 2.0 version to join a folder will this work or will we both have to have Pro version? If the former applies you will have one happy 2.0 pro user in a few more minutes! Would be great if you guys could clarify that.
