  1. I met similar problem on my NAS (QNAP) that for every new file, it synced the file then delete the file from Sync even though there is that file on its disk. Maybe some permission issue. I just not use the NAS for sync but for backup with Windows' own app.
  2. All deleted files will be stored in the hidden folder `.sync/Archive` if you selected 'Store deleted files in folder archive' option by default.
  3. If you turned on "Place new share in default directory automatically" by default, it just works this way. You can just move the sub directory to the place you like. Or turn off the option and manually select place. In the end, two way give same result.

Download only the files you need, when you need them, without having to replicate entire folders on every device.
  5. In detail, there IS a sync all switch under folder information. Sync all is free. Selective sync is the default mode on mobile clients. Selective sync is a pro feature on DESKTOP clients.
