The only way to get the MyCloud EX2 NAS to sleep is to turn off the Sync application in the NAS. It won't sleep otherwise, even if there are no PCs on the network and NTP, DLNA etc. are turned off. The Sync client app for Mac has an Advanced > More Options link that enables the user to set refresh options, but that is only on the client. It apparently does not affect the NAS. Is there no way to correct this situation short of rooting into the NAS, obtaining the special editor utility and editing settings there?
