Let me join the number of fans of btsync that are disappointed with the direction it is headed. I have been using this for quite a while now and really like the software. I upgraded from 1.4 to 2.0 and was surprised but not shocked to see that they were going to a paid Pro version. It gave me 30 days to try it and I was fully ready to pay for the the Pro version when my time expired. Then I saw the price tag. And worse yet that it was an annual subscription service. I use this on my local LAN only. I don't access it from outside of my home. So, I'm going to download one piece of software on my server, one piece of software to my phone, and (as long as that version serves my needs) never interact with BitTorrent again, yet they want me to pay them annually? Very, very disappointing. I can keep my use case under the 10 folder max, so the free version can be made to work. But if the software was a little more reasonably priced and sold to me once, not charged each year, I would have been a paying customer. At this point, I'm not sure I even want to keep the free version installed.
