  1. Resilio itself cannot control clouds; Resilio would have to be already installed on such a platform. However, a good NAS can upload to clouds such as Amazon, Google, Outlook, etc. Otherwise you can exchange your data in sync mode P2P between all devices. But -> never such software make a backup (!) You should do these backups on the NAS with backup software.

  2. Resilio always installs the user "rslsync" on a Synology. So far up to DSM 6, this has been included in the group of administrators. This meant that no extra permissions were required because the admin has access to everything one way or another. With DSM 7 this is no longer possible. Therefore, the named user is stored as a Internal system user. To assign the rights to this, proceed as follows:

Control Panel > Shared Folders > Edit Folder > Permissions tab > Dropdown "Internal system user" > choose the user "rslsync", check "Read / Write" > Save.

This process must be repeated for each shared folder.

as it shows up under linked devices

This is a normal condition, if you connect the devices and use advanced folders. Next, I think is good to read some documentation

since it seems your described tasks can not fullfill with the Advanced Folder type. Maybe you must use the Standard Folder type.

  4. I think, you know that page for the packages

yours is for Geminilake. Which kind of Sync you are using, Free or Pro with license? How many peers you are using?

I can't really imagine transferring or migrating. At start, Resilio creates an individual identity, the content of which is encrypted. I assume that a migration makes no sense, better the whole project has to be recreated. Because it is error-free, it is probably even more time-saving in the end.

In addition, the installation paths on an ASUS NAS are also different. Everything is under on Synology

    /volume1/@appstore/resiliosync/var/

  5. If I understood correctly that you want to create directories, how

    wpte\DCIM
    Dennis\DCIM
    Carolin\DCIM
    Sarah\DCIM
    Donald\DCIM

is not a problem. These are physically created and connected accordingly. However, if this is to be done in connection with the Pro license and you have a license, this is not possible in my opinion, since each instance can only assume one identity. Therefore I would advise you to use standard folders with key exchange.
