To connect multiple devices with the free version is normally no problem. I think there is any other issue. Maybe you also ask the Resilio support.
-
Which version you have installed - 32-bit or 64-bit? Doe you try to install as service?
-
Its an "Not enough permissions error on some folders". Maybe the Unix ACL are not ready for that.
-
Resilio itself cannot control clouds; Resilio would have to be already installed on such a platform. However, a good NAS can upload to clouds such as Amazon, Google, Outlook, etc. Otherwise you can exchange your data in sync mode P2P between all devices. But -> never such software make a backup (!) You should do these backups on the NAS with backup software.

Renew the permissions and inherit them in all sub-folders. That may solve the problem. It could also be that files are locked or protected. Then it is better to add them to the IgnoreList.

Resilio always installs the user "rslsync" on a Synology. So far up to DSM 6, this has been included in the group of administrators. This meant that no extra permissions were required because the admin has access to everything one way or another. With DSM 7 this is no longer possible. Therefore, the named user is stored as a Internal system user. To assign the rights to this, proceed as follows:
Control Panel > Shared Folders > Edit Folder > Permissions tab > Dropdown "Internal system user" > choose the user "rslsync", check "Read / Write" > Save.
This process must be repeated for each shared folder.

as it shows up under linked devices
This is a normal condition, if you connect the devices and use advanced folders. Next, I think is good to read some documentation
https://help.resilio.com/hc/en-us/articles/205471375-User-Management
https://help.resilio.com/hc/en-us/articles/204762339-How-to-Back-up-data-Android-only-
since it seems your described tasks can not fullfill with the Advanced Folder type. Maybe you must use the Standard Folder type.

@Daria, by the way and a bit off topic, what are the activities about updates v2.7.2 to v2.x.x and Android v2.6.4 to v2.x.x?
-
Maybe a problem with permissions or locking by other Apps.
-
I think, you know that page for the packages
https://help.resilio.com/hc/en-us/articles/206664850
yours is for Geminilake. Which kind of Sync you are using, Free or Pro with license? How many peers you are using?
I can't really imagine transferring or migrating. At start, Resilio creates an individual identity, the content of which is encrypted. I assume that a migration makes no sense, better the whole project has to be recreated. Because it is error-free, it is probably even more time-saving in the end.
In addition, the installation paths on an ASUS NAS are also different. Everything is under on Synology
/volume1/@appstore/resiliosync/var/

Maybe check the setting per peer in the power user settings
https://help.resilio.com/hc/en-us/articles/207371636-Power-user-preferences
if any conflict setting is wrong.

Yes, in the RC Build

there is a package in the package center of DSM 7. It runs as known.

Maybe there are default setting about such files and folders. Maybe read documentation
https://help.resilio.com/hc/en-us/articles/205450355-My-files-don-t-sync
https://help.resilio.com/hc/en-us/articles/205458165-Ignoring-files-in-Sync-Ignore-List-
If all other files are synced, maybe rename such items.
-
If not running, you can try Syncthing. Maybe you find a package in your Systemmanager.
-
It could be that the APP does not unlock the last edited file. Then this cannot be deleted either. I propose a test in a parallel and neutral environment to see whether the result is the same.

If I understood correctly that you want to create directories, how
wpte\DCIM
Dennis\DCIM
Carolin\DCIM
Sarah\DCIM
Donald\DCIMis not a problem. These are physically created and connected accordingly. However, if this is to be done in connection with the Pro license and you have a license, this is not possible in my opinion, since each instance can only assume one identity. Therefore I would advise you to use standard folders with key exchange.
-
If you go inside of DSM in system control > common folders, choose one of your folders > edit > permissions > system user and look for rslsync or similar and hook on the right box.
This is different to the DSM versions before. Resilio was member of Admin group, so it was nothing to set.

Is Linux style for permissions for everyone. I dont know what is on OMV5,
-
You can test that. Usually Resilio make All that. If doesnt work, try with 0777 permissions.
-
You need to change the unix permission for the directory so that resilio could write into the directory to create it's .sync directory.
-
If both .sync/Archiv folder are empty, Computer and Phone the data are gone if you have no backup.

Doe you also try \temp\temp2 ?
