  1. I'm using 2.6.2 on my Synology DS1817+. I stop Sync from running, as I can't delete the share folder when it is, then delete the Resilio Sync folder. When I start Sync again, it's recreated. Is there a setting somewhere I'm missing?
  2. I'm not a fan of this and would like to disable the creation of that shared folder as I don't use it.
  3. The changing of the port after an update does get frustrating after a few of them. Any chance of being able to make the change through the webUI at some point? The option appears to be there but grayed out.
  4. If you can SSH into the Drobo, you can try running: /usr/bin/DroboApps.sh install It's like restarting the Drobo, but not really having to. That might install it as long as the tgz file is still in the DroboApps share. It might help to stop the BitTorrent Sync app first.
  5. Ah, I see what you mean now. I've just tried adding files to those subfolders and the placeholders are the only thing that appears. So, I guess it doesn't automatically sync new files when the folder is chosen to Sync to the device, which is not the thing I want it to do.
  6. With Selective Sync, I believe you can do that now. I have one big share folder and only sync one or two sub folders that are located within in. I'm on a Mac, but I can right-click a folder and choose to sync that folder, or unsync it, from the drop down menu. Of course, the other folders would still appear but they'd be placeholders. I'm hoping I understood you correctly. If not, I apologize.
  7. +1 for this ability as well. I work in company where installing apps cannot be done without permissions. The ability to upload individual files or downloading individual files through the web would be a welcome addition. This feature is why I still have Dropbox around as I can just go to the Dropbox website.
  8. It took me a moment of searching the support files to get the license on my Drobo 5N as Support through email was not any help. The link provided in the email after purchase also gave me the same message you got when pasted in the Manual Connection field. Open the btskey file in a text program and copy the line in it and paste it in the Manual Connection field. I found these instructions in the link provided below under the Linux and NAS activation. http://help.getsync.com/customer/en/portal/articles/1919623-how-to-activate-a-license-seat-?b_id=3895 Hope it works for you.
