@Helen well, I'm not a power user I'm using CM13, and I just installed BitTorrentSync app and make sync folder with my Win7 desktop, nothing more - so, I believe, it's default settings. Anyway, it runs under user, not root

@Helen yes, it's SD - where can I check permissions for Sync app? probably it's the case here...

Unfortunately, this hint didn't work for me. my settings in Android, my settings on desktop, even one more advanced setting - nothing helps: when I delete folder on my desktop - it continue to reappear as empty on both desktop and android... is there any solution?.. very annoying...

@Remirus, yes, Auto-update Gallery enabled, folder synchronized (proof), but it's not there.

Remirus, Yes, I'm syncing on external SD ("portable storage" mode) to specially created /mp3 folder - and after syncing it doesn't appear at my Google Music (or just Music) app at all; to see it I need to dismount external SD and mount it back to start process of discovery (and it takes forever on my 50Gb+ collection)... When I'm using USB cable to transfer to the same folder - it appears immediately. (Galaxy S4, CM13)

have the same problem... did you manage to solve it somehow?..
