  1. The link mentions SyncShellExtension.dll file. What I have is ShellExtensionPath64_230.dll and ShellExtensionPath86_230.dll. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\BitTorrent Sync has the following keys: ShellExtensionPath64 -> d:\Users\Juan Ma\AppData\Roaming\BitTorrent Sync\ShellExtensionPath64_230.dll ShellExtensionPath86 -> d:\Users\Juan Ma\AppData\Roaming\BitTorrent Sync\ShellExtensionPath86_230.dll And HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\BitTorrent Sync has the following keys: ShellExtensionOverlay64 -> d:\ProgramData\BitTorrent Sync\ShellExtensionOverlay64_230.dll ShellExtensionOverlay86 -> d:\ProgramData\BitTorrent Sync\ShellExtensionOverlay86_230.dll The files referenced by the reg keys are in their folders as expected.
  2. After doing a clean install of Sync 2.3.8 (560) there are no Sync icons on Windows Explorer. I tried to follow the instructions on this (https://help.getsync.com/hc/en-us/articles/206214625-No-Sync-icons-in-the-file-browser-no-Sync-related-items-in-the-context-menu-on-Mac-Windows) link, but I can't find those files. Have they been moved?
  3. Yes, that was exactly what happened. Good to know it is fixed by now. It would be great if there was some kind of warning on a device if it is going to disconnect a folder, of course, if that folder belongs to the user.
  4. Hello, I had the following issue. I have Sync Pro for personal use installed on four devices. One of them were switched off a long time, but it had a relatively new version of Sync (2.3.4). The other three devices where almost up to date, 2.3.8, 2.3.6 and 2.3.6 (this one installed as a service). What happened is: Switched on the device with the old version and upgraded to latest version. Restarted. All my devices had all their folders disconnected. No warnings. No messages. How can this happen? Did I do something wrong? Don't make me wrong, I really like the product, it has unique features not found in, for instance, DropBox. But from time to time it has issues that make it unsuitable for real work. Now that is a paid for product, this should be a really concerning issue. I would like to use it in my company, but I think it is not ready yet.
