  1. I too, am a very long term user (BT-days) and was - too be honest - totally hit by surprise by this server thing. We have 12 liscences (various kinds). It took me a while to wrap my head around what bugs me about this. So they want 1200 € / server. That's a lot of money. I mean A LOT of money. Ok - so that's one thing. I don't want to spend that money (we have four severs..) But than it hit me - now I know what really bothers me about it. WE ARE SUPPOSED TO PROVIDE THE INFRASTRUCTURE. I mean that's the entire point of non-cloud-service-syncing: The user is responsible for the hardware setup. The user is responsible for backups, etc. OF COURSE I WOULD DO THAT WITH MY OWN SERVER! So now they tell me - hey - use our software - I mean - we don't provide servers, we don't route anything, there is no backup from us, you are entirely responsible for your data and btw: you are only allowed to use a laptop! SAY WHAT?! Really hope that there will be a different pricing scheme in the future, or else this whole thing is futile.
  2. I have just completed a rather large sync setup (several hundred gigs in 5 shared folders) and am now realizing the folders that I used should be in a different path on the machine in Question. On my Mac (Pro License) - no Problem. Drag, drop, done. On that Windows 10 machine (Free License) - no can do. I followed the instructions in this help-article https://help.getsync.com/hc/en-us/articles/205450655-Can-I-move-or-rename-a-syncing-folder- But it doesn't work. If I rename a folder Sync 2.4 will not pic up on the change. I cannot open the folder in sync by clicking on the name of the share and it doesn't sync anything but it also doesn't give out a warning "folder disappeared" or similar. It just sits there and waits. If I mouse over the share in the Resilio Interface it shows me the old path after a second of waiting. If I move the folder back to the original location everything is peachy again. What can I do? If I remove the folder in the Resilio App, move the folder in Explorer, Connect to the Folder again and point to the not emtpy path I get a warning that the folder ist not emtpy and I am a bit worried what will happen after that. Is there maybe a hidden text-file where I can change the path name? Any help is appreciated. Kind regards, Napper
