i did this exact same thing and it deleted the files from the device completelty, and its not in the archive. :\

I tried to selectively remove some files from this device (As in removing it from syncing) and it just deleted them all. The folders are still there. The archive is empty. And my Computer has 153Gb more space now. Please tell me I can get those files back! Thanks, o

I clicked remove this file (153Gb worth) from device and it was synced. It's completely gone how do I restore it? @Helen I then checked the archive it wasn't there, and my computer has 153Gb less now. I can't believe one click deleted a half my drive.
