thank you! systemctl --user status yielded an input/output error, a reboot fixed it.

Running Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, I've installed according to the guide: https://help.getsync.com/hc/en-us/articles/206178924-Installing-Sync-package-on-Linux but running as user fails, any idea? sudo apt-get install resilio-sync [sudo] password for user: Reading package lists...
