  1. While the file is hidden is there any way to cancel the download?
  2. Ok... I was being facetious when I said I was impatient... Let's say: I meant to right click to bring up the context menu to cancel the download but my finger slips and I double click... I didn't notice the file had a little downloading symbol next to it so I clicked expecting it to start the download... My cat steps on my mouse causing a double click... Having the file just disappear until the download completes is rather strange. Is there a better channel for reporting bugs like this? You don't seem very receptive to these reports of strange and unexpected behaviors.
  3. With selective sync enabled, if I double click a placeholder file in Finder it will begin downloading it from a peer. If I double click the placeholder file again before it has completed downloading (let's say I'm impatient...), the file disappears altogether from Finder. Once the download completes, the original file is correctly shown again. This is problematic because (AFAICT) I lose the ability to cancel the sync of the file.
  4. Some examples of apps that don't shut down their menu bar application when the main application is closed are Crashplan and 1Password. The lifecycle of the main application is completely independent of the menu bar application so I can't accidentally shut down the service with ⌘Q.
  5. Ok, usually I would expect the sync service to continue running despite the application being closed (e.g. Dropbox doesn't have an active application in the Dock but the service remains running in the menu bar). I do think that ⌘W closing the window AND removing the app from the Dock while keeping the menu bar item is a bit extraordinary... Any plans to allow for menu bar only functionality without ⌘Q shutting it down?
  6. The Mac app has some unexpected window behavior. If I use ⌘W to close the app window, the dock icon closes but the sync icon in the menu bar stays open. If I use ⌘Q to close the app, both the dock icon and the menu bar close. Is this the expected behavior? It seems out of line with other app behaviors on the Mac so I'm surprised every time when my sync engine is suddenly not running!
