  1. Sorry to be negative, but I am sad to say I give up on Resilio. 5 days for support and am told I have to uninstall and reinstall because I did a simple requested update. And now that I've done this, it has forced me to add the machines to the group. Now that I've done this, its created a complete mess of everything because its added new share folders to the existing networks I didn't upgrade. So, I tried to re-establish the correct share folder and now it's stuck on 'connecting'. It would be faster and less aggravating to walk around the house with memory sticks. I get that this is a free product. If resilio doesn't want to deal with the 'freemium' model, then don't. Just make it an enterprise solution and don't offer this for free. This is way to complicated and requires way too much work for the general user. Best of luck. Hope things work out. Its a great solution, its just not made for most people.
  2. Thanks for the help. Ok, just to double check, the only way around this is to complete uninstall, reinstall and set everything up again? Whoa, that's pretty drastic.
  3. I upgraded from 2.5.7 to 2.5.9 and now "resilio" is asking for a business license to continue. This isn't be used for business purposes. At one time, I had a pro license, but didn't use selective sync so didn't purchase a new license. Worked fine until I upgraded. Now Resilio won't let me even launch the client. Any guidance? Thanks.
  4. I just updated from 2.5.7 to 2.5.9 and now Resilio says I'm a business user and wants me to buy a license for all my computes. I'm not a business user. I purchased pro a couple years ago, but didn't need the selective sync. I am unable to use Resilio now. How do I downgrade? Please advise. I also tried downloading the free version and re-installing. Still no luck. Unable to launch Resilio. Thx.
  5. Howdy- I'm thinking of giving this product a shot. Looks good, but I have an important question: - I have about 30 low cost laptops at my home (I do research out of hobby). - I've programmed each laptop to do a task in excel and then export a simple TXT file in a certain location (a tiny txt file I could save in the Sync folder) - These machines are a mix of Win7 and 10 and all on the same/dedicated WiFi network - It would be easier for me if Resilio sync just shared them to all the machines. Saves me a little manual work. Question: Does Resilio Sync require that a certain dedicated computer always act as the master computer or will sync work no matter which computers are on the network and/or not on the network? Hope this makes sense. If this works, I will probably go pro because a) Its very cheap, b) its the right thing to pay for services one uses and c) selective sync feature Thanks!
