  1. filezilla for mac might give you something close. Drag-and-drop placement depending on if you get it set up right. otherwise, kill the btsync process and cp the executable over.
  2. If you're controlling from a windows machine, winscp might be a bit more comfortable for you.
  3. Replacing the executable for the package you have already via ssh would be the way to install it. Their package is VERY outdated.
  4. Fact: you are now on moderator preview for 90 days.
  5. Dropbox? Microsoft Skydrive/onedrive? Box? Evernote?

  7. Probably one of your nodes being stuck in a firewalled state that is forcing communication to that node through the relay servers.
  8. You'd need to trigger the command in the synology's startup scripts.
  9. If you're going to move files out of the syncarchive folder I would recommend using a temporary location outside of your sync folder before putting them back in the main tree.
  10. This is incorrect for multiple systems that are using full access keys. If you're using full-access keys, you end up having the two folders merge. What specific version of sync are you running?
  11. You should be able to just replace the binary the package installed with the correct one for the architecture of your synology. uname -a from a command shell will help you get the information about what platform to go for.
  12. This is a package provided by a third party. The package you want to replace your existing binary with is the ARM version.
  13. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/177506 covers windows. There will be similar lists for other platforms. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Filename#Reserved_characters_and_words also.
  14. Those characters are technically reserved and will be blocked regardless of program due to operating system restrictions.
  15. If you use full access keys on both NAS devices pointed at locations with existing files, the two will merge.
  16. Do you have truecrypt set to update the timestamp after closing the container?
  17. Because you have a folder defined in the configuration file, webui is disabled.
  18. Not as much (you wouldn't get port forwarding conflicts with no two peers on the same internet connection) but I still would recommend against using a single listen port unless ABSOLUTELY necessary.
  19. It can be, especially if multiple peers are on the same network. I would recommend leaving the ports as they are configured when they launch rather than have the same port for all peers.

  21. x86_64 linux version won't work on arm based devices. There is a dedicated arm version.
