I have a TB of photos I want to sync with a friend in an encrypted folder. I don't want to be sending that 1 TB over the internet. Can I somehow generate the encrypted contents locally and copy it over to the destination machine via usb drive, so I don't exceed my Comcast bandwidth for the month? Or alternatively, can I get the 2 machines to sync by running them on a local private network?
