  1. @xfelix Thank you VERY much! Do you know if it is compatible with the Marvell Armada 370 88F6707? Maybe I should just change 88f6281 by 88f6707? Thanks again !
  2. @xfelix Where did you find the 2.6.1 and 2.6.2 packages to downgrade? 🙂 Thanks!
  3. Hello all, I'm coming here to know if some other Synology NAS users have been facing to the same problem. My Resilio Sync packages stops spontaneously after a certain amount of time. I am using the 2.6.3-1 (downloaded from the Resilio website). Interestingly, the package manager says that the most recent version is the 2.6.2-1 (see screenshot) and that's why I am answering to this thread as people seemed to have troubles with the last versions. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the package (loosing the whole config as described earlier here...) but the problem is still there. And as I can't find any of the previous versions available to download, I can't try to downgrade. Any idea? Solution? Download link? Thank for your help! Have a lovely day!

  5. Dear Gane, Yes I know ;-). I just answered to Fnordsensei's question. Have a nice day!
  6. To my opinion, nothing. You can even use different account names with the same Home Pro licence. Just if you do this, the devices won't be "synchronized automatically". But you can still add the folders manually. Their is no control on the number of seats or the user name. However, ethically, it’s better to buy a Family version if you use this licence on computers of other family members or friends. It’s a way to thank them for the great they’ve done in this software development. That’s why I enjoyed their last offer and upgraded my licence to family version (an extra $10 really worth this software). So again, from the info I could get from the Resilio Team, I would say their is no technical interest to switch from Home Pro to Home Family Pro, unless you want to thank the great work they’ve done on developing such great software. But again, it's only what I could conclude from what I read, and it's succeptible to change in the future if they start to control the number of seats or user names.
  7. Dear Gane, Thanks for this information. That looked a bit weird 'cause usually, licences that are based on users and not on seats are linked to an "account" (email, identifier, name, etc.) to oblige people to purshase another licence when they want to use another account on their device. Here it doesn't seem to be the case.
  8. Dear Gane, Ok for contacting the support, but to tell them what? I'm actualy having no issue with my licence. I just try to understand how this works. I first thought that Sync would recognize the user according to the name we enter when we configure each device. But this doesn't seem to be the case as I could still use my licence with a different user name. Then I read somewhere that it might be based on the unique identifier I have, but I also read that this identifier is based on the name I enter, so obviously not... Finally, I perfectly understand what you mean in term of single/family user(s), but if there is no way to distinguish if two devices belong to one single user or to 2 different ones, I'm just pointing out that buying the "family licence" is based on the client's honesty ;-). Have a great day.
  9. Hey! Sorry to open up this thread again but I still have some interrogation/doubts about this licensing system. In my case, I already installed my licence on several devices (mine), with the same identity. Till there everything seems logical. I have a Sync Home Pro licence by the way. But after that I installed this licence on the computer that stands at my parent's house with a complete other identity and I have no problem using it to sync to my folders or even create new folders to sync with other people. So, how can Resilio Sync know that two devices belong to two "different" persons if it's not based on the identity? And, what's the point to buy a "family" licence if I can do the same with a standard Home Pro one? Apart respecting the deontology code of course... Could you bring me some light on this? Thanks!
