  1. I am seriously shocked, what did you do with the fastest protocol BitTorrent so it performs slower then a regular FTP encrypted transfer.?! I did find a few topics in this forum about the slow transfer speed, but non of the tips does any difference. In two words, my continuous test with 20GB of data on a regular 100mbit Broadband shows steady results of download speed ~12mb/s - FTP vs, ~7mb/s - Resilio All settings are default, using Windows 10 LTSB, Core i5 8GB ram and regular hdd. Note: FTP connection is also encrypted with strongest TLS certificate.
  2. Hi, I'm new to Resilio, but I have managed to setup sync between my desktop and my Readynas RN102. Though I find that my sync speed isn't as fast as i should. They are connected via gigabit ethernet through a gigabit switch. When testing with NAStester i get transfer speeds of 60-70 MB/s but running Resilio Sync only get 7-8 MB/s in average, with peaks of 15 MB/s. I have tried the recommended settings for improving transfer speed, and all but one step in the guide setting up forced LAN sync - i cannot access the config folder as specified here: https://help.resilio.com/hc/en-us/articles/206664690-Sync-Storage-folder Therefore i am not able to copy the sync.conf file to the correct directory of my NAS. I have tried to access via pathfinder and frontview. I can see the folder in pathfinder but not via frontview. Any help would be appreciated. Moba
  3. Is there a known bug with Mac program files (DMG) synching? I had two folders that were finished synching yesterday. I took one file, a 6.6 MB OS X app (in DMG format) out of one folder and put it into another folder. The folder the file was added to is now attempting to sync with the other peer, but it's going at around 100 KB/s or less. And these are two computers on the same LAN, so the speed should be in MB/s not KB/s. I am quite puzzled by what I'm seeing. Is this a known issue?
  4. Hi everyone. I finally seem to have solved the problems with the fixed port but I'm now experiencing very very slow syncing between my two computers (laptop with Linux Mint 14 at work and Desktop with Win7 64bit at home). I use BTSync to sync a couple of folders that contain important documents, so that I have them both at home and at the office. The sync is actually an upload from the laptop to the desktop, because I usually edit these files when I'm at work, and "backup" them to the desktop at home for both security and accessibility. I have a 50/10 mbit connection at home and a more "normal" ADSL connection (5/1 mbit) at the office. Not so good for upload, but still plenty of bandwidth for syncing just a few small files. Still, syncing is very slow, around 0.1 kB/s with peaks of 0.5 kB/s. But most of all, on both computers, one sync never completes (both ends saying the laptop has to upload 222.6 kB, which never happens though). [Edit: I solved this, it was a problem cause by two files with same name under Linux. Slow sync problem still happening though.] I can provide logs if needed. Any suggestions? Thanks!
