  1. Hello, I would like to have selective sync download new files by default and let my remove the files I don't want individually, rather than the other way around. Thanks, Will
  2. I have a Seedboxes account with Resilio Sync setup. I Resilio to sync files between my seedbox and a computer. Let's say I have 100 files in the seedbox that is setup to sync, then Resilio Sync will start to download maybe 20 of those files at the same time to my local computer. For me that is inconvenient because I will have to wait for 20 files to finish before I can open one of them on my local computer. So basically what I am asking is, is it possible to make Resilio Sync download one file at at time instead of downloading multiple files at the same time?
  3. Hi I just tried to use selective sync and I cannot figure out how to get the files to download I am using windows 7 with the resilio sync application. I have started a download/sync and when I click on the sync item in the resilio sync application it opens the folder location containing RSLS files how do I tell the software to download the files I want. I don't see any check boxes and when right click a files no option to download. I have found if I double click an item it will start to download but this cant be the correct method? Thanks for the reply.
  4. What if there were a browser plugin that took some of the Project Maelstrom tech that was for uploading and downloading via BT Sync for computer neophyte user? I had drafted a longer post but my session timed out and I lost the information... Three basic functions of the extension: View BT Sync placeholders Download individual files to Downloads Folder Upload individual files to BT Sync Folder I have found that the effort for computer illiterate people, like some of my clients, to understand BT Sync, download, install, and use is too many steps. Also, some people may not be able to install BT Sync because they are not an administrator. If I understand correctly, browser extensions may not require admin privileges. The extension could basically be a downloads manager for BT Sync links. It would make is SUPER accessible for BT Sync users to send materials to non-users with limited effort.
  5. My Sync connection has been acting really strange recently. I had a problem a few months ago where my files simply refused to sync, so I decided to delete the Sync app and settings from my Windows laptop and my LG G4, and start afresh later on. I set everything up again a few weeks ago, and everything was peaches up until today. I'm trying to sync some music files from my laptop to the G4, but the download just keep starting and stopping. One moment the Android app is telling me that files are being received and I can see a download speed at the bottom of the screen, but about 10 seconds later, it changes to say either just Receiving (with no download speed) or Indexing, and then a few moments later it starts downloading again, then stops, then starts, and so on. It's really bugging me, especially because I can't think what is periodically getting in the way of the transfer.
  6. Origionally posted this query in the BitTorrent Client section, as opposed to the BitTorrent Sync area. Can only hope I won't be flamed to harshly ... I'm getting the following Sync speeds on a GigaBit LAN Min 1.6 MBps Max 6.0 MBps Avg 2.3 - 3.8 MBps Would I be totally off-topic expecting around 125 MBps? (when there is no other traffic on the LAN) Specs: 2x i7 8GB 256SSD Windows 8.1 Laptops running Sync v 2.0.128(36) connected via CAT6 cabling to a NetGear R6300v2 NoteBook 1 - 10.17.0.111 NoteBook 2 - 10.17.0.112 Sync Settings uPnP port mapping enabled Receiving & Sending rates NOT enabled lan_encrypt_data false rate_limit_local_peers false
  7. Hello, is it possible introduce a panel that allows me to see the upload speed and download for each individual peers during the exchange of files? For now you can only see the total speed for all peers. Thanks Andrea
  8. I have 2 issues. The more pressing one is that after moving some folders on my PC I was forced to disconect the syncing and create a new one because you can't change the location of a sync. OK. But now, my Android decided to redownload everything. 20 GB of music is being redownloaded, despite the fact it's still on my phone. I'm guessing the index failed. Second issue, not as pressing, I have read only on my phone, I noticed that when I delete a folder on my PC it doesn't always delete on the phone as well. Is this normal? Thank you. now, for example, My PC says out of sync and my android says Receiving. The folders should be identical on both ends.
  9. Dear community, Unfortunately there are some issues with our download server and Sync cannot be downloaded from official download page. Please feel free to use the direct download link below while we fix the problem. Build 1.4.106 direct download We apologize for inconvenience.
  10. I am building a media server based on btsync folders. When getting the files via api-"get_files"-request, I get that folder on my server where the file is stores. And I can stream this file from my server via the filesystem. I was wondering, if there is a way to access the files from any device thats in my cloud. I don't see any possibility doing this in the API-docs.
  11. Hi there, Love the theory of this program, but having significant issues in performance. I have it set up where a few remote computers send files to a central computer with this program. Works good, but kills the internet in the process. The central computer would only be downloading at a reasonable rate (so no limited required). When in the process of even a single file, the ping rate to the internet jumps from 45-50ms to between 500-600ms. when doing speed tests during the transfer, the speed is crippled. Download rate drops 80% (even though the file download is only sucking 40kbs due to upload speeds on the other end), and the upload speed (even though there's no upload) drops to 0.02mbs... worse than dial-up. As soon as I close the program, ping rates return to 45-50ms, download/upload rates return to normal. It's scary. I manage the site remotely, and need to be able to administer it over the WAN... when this program runs, I can't even RDP without drops, and hosted webpages from the site drop as well. Any thoughts?
  12. So I recently moved to a new place and got a new ISP, specifically Comcast. I know they've been known to throttle, but I ran Glasnost after getting some pretty bursty download speeds (see graph...I don't know how to attach a screenshot so the picture is here: http://imgur.com/l0o0QDR) and it turned up nothing. I am going through a modem (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004XC6GJ0/ref=oh_details_o04_s01_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and a router (http://www.amazon.com/NETGEAR-Wireless-Router-N300-WNR2000/dp/B001AZP8EW) and should be getting about 50Mbps, which is what I get for apps like Steam and the like. Any idea what could be causing these bursty and highly patterned speeds? Thanks
