  1. Hi! Resilio is a great software but one feature I'd really want to see is an option to create an encrypted folder somewhere to sync and keep photos from my iPhone. This should be a relatively easy to enable, as I believe all necessary functionality is already there in the app. Thanks for considering! -- PJ
  2. Hi all, Since Dropbox isn't available for more than three devices I'm working on using Resilio to backup the photos from my phone. If I use the standard 'backup' option, then backup works fine. However, the folder that is created is 'standard folder'. With that folder I can't put it on the public server. I'm not sure if it's possible to create advanced 'encrypted folder' the same way with Android app photo backup feature. I would need an encrypted folder because I want to sync to a server that's always on and I'm not the owner, so the contents should always be encrypted.
  3. Hello Everyone! I have around of ten folders syncyng through ten different devices. And its amount is increasing. Some of my folders have "Encrypted folders" feature and I have theses keys only for encrypted sotrage. But some folders don't have these "Encrypted folders" keys. So, the questions is - how can I can the Encrypted Folder key for an ordinary folder?
  4. I've created a rslsync encrypted folder on my NAS (QNAP TS119, Marvell Kirkwood SOC) and added the encrypted key to a rslsync folder on a vserver. This setup won't sync apparently due to failing hash checks at the vserver. Syncing to another target (Notebook, Arch Linux, Linux 4.8.11, x86_64, rslsync 2.4.2, r/w key) works in all directions (NAS <-> Laptop, vserver <-> Laptop). I think I've quoted the relevant logfile entries, if not the full logfiles are attached. Many thanks for your support! Setup V-Server: platform: Linux 3.16.0-4-amd64 #1 SM
  5. Hi there, it would be great to improve support encrypted folders on iPhone. I use Sync between my local Mac mini, my iPhone, and my VPS Server. The remote VPS serves as a “cloud” that I own. Sync is definitely the fastest way for me to keep identical data on multiple machines, including an iOS app for access on the go. Examples: - macOS (online) <-> iOS (online) - macOS (offline) <-> VPS (online) <-> iOS (online) - macOS (online) <-> VPS (online) <-> iOS (offline) - etc... I don't want to store my sensitive data on VPS Server without en
  6. This is probably a dumb question, but I haven't been able to find the answer in the forum or the support areas. What I would like to do is to sync files on two computers (COMPUTER-1 and COMPUTER-2) by using a third computer that is always online (ALWAYS-ONLINE-COMPUTER) using an Encrypted Folder, so the ALWAYS-ONLINE-COMPUTER only sees encrypted data, but COMPUTER-1 and COMPUTER-2 can sync even if they aren't both online simultaneously. And I would like the sync to be bi-directional, so files changed/added/deleted on COMPUTER-1 are synced to COMPUTER-2, and files changed/added/deleted on COMPU
  7. Let say we have 2 machines running btsync, syncing an encrypted folder. One machine (source) has the unencrypted read/write version. The other (backup) has only the encrypted version of the folder. We regularly do back up of btsync data folder on the backup machine, including the encrypted folder. Now for some reasons, both source and backup have failed. How can we restore the data from the encrypted folder (we still have the keys - for rw, ro, encrypted)? I tried to copy the encrypted folder to btsync data folder on another machine, but it doesn't work. Needles
  8. Hi everyone, Is there a standard/recommended procedure to migrate/upgrade a regular Sync folder to the new Encrypted Folder option? I have a couple folders that have nodes on 3rd party servers where I'd love to start encrypting them. Should I just have every node disconnect the current folder (but don't delete the data), and set up a new Sync folder one the same directory? I've been trying to search for this answer, and I've seen at least one person ask this question on the blog post with no answer. Thanks!
