Hi, Not sure if this is hardware related, android related or something with the app. But no matter where the issue is maybe someone can give me some tips on what to try. On my Radxa Rock i get the "No internet connection" message in BTSync when I am connected via Ethernet, on wi-fi everything works just fine. When I connect my device to my LAN with ethernet cable I get an IP from my DHCP and most applications work, chrome, google play and so on. But not BTSync that doesn't seem to be able to recognize the connection, any advice?
Hi all, I have two computers (a MacBook Pro and a Mac Mini) directly connected with a pair of 10Gbps ethernet adapters. I use the MacMini as a file server. Both computers also have another 1Gbps ethernet adapter used to access Internet and other devices in my LAN, but enabling/disabling them does not affect what I am going to describe. Resilio Sync Home (Version 2.5.6) is installed in both computers. It correctly identifies the 10Gbps link and uses it, but the max speed I am able to achieve is in between 50-70 MB/s over that link – this number reported by both Resilio UI and a network monitor app. I have LAN encryption disabled. Attached you can find the advanced config I am currently using in both machines. Obviously, the link itself is working correctly — I can share and read over 10Gbps ethernet the MacMini's SSD by using AFP or SMB3 at 450MB/s, that is SSD max speed. Any clue? Thanks! Alessandro
Some of the files I'm planning to sync from my MacBook Pro to my Windows Home Server are very large (virtual machines) and as such I'd like to enable syncing only when I've connected to my local network using Ethernet (rather than using the WiFi). This is because a sync over anything other than a local ethernet connection will take forever, massacre my WiFi and max out my broadband monthly data cap in no time. Request: For each sync folder, allow the user to specify which network interfaces may be used for syncing (default = All), so as I can de-select WiFi for these folders. For each sync folder, allow the user to specify if it should sync over LAN only (default = False) so as I can prevent these folders from syncing over the internet (when I'm in the office, for example)Cheers, Pete EDIT: Apologies - posted to wrong forum. Mods, can you please move to BitTorrent Sync \ General Discussion
