  1. To aid mixed Windows and *nix environments, it would be helpful to allow use of / as a directory delimiter in IgnoreList on Windows, just as it is on *nix. / Isn't valid in file or directory names on Windows, so there would be no conflict with actual names. (I believe that some parts of the Windows API even accept / as a directory delimiter.)
  2. Hi, I created a "synced foler" on my PC. A ".sync\IgnoreList" file was automatically created. I edited it and wrote the file. I restarted Sync. Then I shared this folder on my phone. On my phone a ".sync\IgnoreList" file was automatically created. But: 1) this file is not the copy of the one on the PC, instead it's the default IgnoreList file 2) I can't edit the phone's IgnoreList because * when I open it with ES File manager / Text editor, when saving, I have "cannot write" (maybe it's a permission problem? this happens even if Sync is not running) * when I connec
  3. Ive shared my Documents folder with all my linked devices (Windows 10) Each time i empty my recyclebin i get loads of locked files. I added $RECYCLE.BIN to .sync\IgnoreList to get rid of those. My Documentfolder is redirected and being offline-synced (corporate). Does anyone else have issues with the recyclebin, and why is it not being excluded by default anyway? Other OS'es corresponding trashfolders (.Trashes) are being excluded, and we do got Sync's Archive-folder to recover deleted files anyway?
  4. I'd love to see Synology's @eaDir directories/files automatically in .SyncIgnore !
  5. Hello guys! I have folders synced between my phone (android kitkat) and my laptop (windows 8.1 x64). The folder is originally from the phone, so the laptop has read-only permission. The problem is: I've put some folders to not sync into the bittorrentsync file of the phone called "ignorelist". for example: I synced my folder "whatsapp" from the phone with the laptop and put some folders inside the whatsapp folder to not sync with the peers. Those folders are syncing though. I attached the screenshots below. Do you guys know what the problem is here? thanks!!
  6. Hi, I have two Android devices (one Android v4.2.2, the other v4.4.2) both running v1.4.44.0, and an Ubuntu 14.04 machine running v1.4.0-4. I have created some read-only (I think now called 'backup' in v1.4?) syncs on my Android devices, which I'm syncing to my Ubuntu box. One of these is working, but a couple of them show as "Out Of Sync" on both the Android client and the Ubuntu web gui. My hunch is that this happened after I changed the .sync/IgnoreList and restarted btsync on the Ubuntu machine. In the sync.log on the Ubuntu machine, the two folders that are not syncing both gener
