I followed the guide here https://help.getsync.com/hc/en-us/articles/211928186-Upgrade-on-dekstops-BitTorrent-Sync-Resilio-Sync- on how to migrate an older btsync setup to resilio. I download the Binary and extract it, I Place it in my Home------>----->Bin directory. Next to the btsync Binary. I first run Killall btsync to stop the process. This works fine. I then run systemctl start rslsync. Sometimes this works, other times it does not. If it does work. I run Systemctl enable rslsync. I then check the status with systemctl status rslsync. The status comes back with an error of 1 and then exits. If I try to install from AUR with Yaourt the package installs fine but the process has the same error as when I try to launch it manually. If there is something I am missing, please let me know. If I rename the new binary to btsync. It will run correctly but then it thinks it is a new user and wants a new user name and can not find the old file paths. I will post a screen shot of the error at a later point today.
For the past two weeks syncing starts and stops after about 1 minute. If I restart the application it starts again but stops again after 1-2 minuets. This is the error in the log file: [2016-07-04 06:20:41] SF: Max number of torrents reached (105) [2016-07-04 06:20:41] SF [C8BD]: connect files to peer, queue:99 dowloading:2/14092866 speed:13106 [2016-07-04 06:20:41] ScheduledTask: "ConnectMorePeers" invoked: timer, reason:UnloadInactiveTorrents - torrent wants connection [2016-07-04 06:20:41] SF[B088]: Not loading torrents - sync is paused or fc error [2016-07-04 06:20:41] ScheduledTask: "ConnectMorePeers" invoked: timer, reason:ConnectMorePeers - sync is paused or fc error I've tried many tweaks I found on Google, nothing helped. What can I do?
My sync has about 4-5 users (I forget which,) including myself, and there are a lot of files and folders within the sync. Today I wanted to tidy up the files and organise them better, which entails moving some files into different folders and deleting some duplicate files I found, ect. The issue: Not all users are online all of the time. When I finish organising everything nicely, another user can come online and they'll have all the files and folders in the original positions, and they'll end up sending /me/ that copy of those files, ruining half of the organising I've done. Example: I have file A, and file B inside a sync folder. I decide file B should be inside a folder named "folder B" and I delete folder A since it happened to be a duplicate of file B. Then another user comes online and they send me file A, and file B and put those where they originally were, while I send them folder B and its contents. How do you guys normally get around this issue? Or is this not normal behaviour?
