Is it possible to share a very large folder (with many subfolders/files within) with family/friends without having them sync the whole thing? The Selective Sync feature seems to do just this, but sounds like it required each one of my friends/family members to purchase a pro license? The large folder is several terabytes in size so it is out of the question that they sync the whole folder. The idea is to share this folder as read only so that they are able to see all the subfolders - and only sync the subfolders they want. I'm sure that not all of them will want to purchase the pro license, hence my question. I want to make sure the free version will work for all my friends/family before I purchase a pro license for myself.
Hello, I have found an issue in a Sync (backup) between WP8 Camera roll and W7 computer. I seems that only images from certain apps are included in the backup, while others are not. For example images from default WP8 camera app are syncing, as well photos from Nokia Camera app and 4Blend HDR app, but photos taken with other apps such as Camera HDR, Cam Scanner or Photosynth do not sync despite their size is often much smaller... What might be the problem? Thanks in forward for any suggestions.
Hi, I have successfully setup btsync on one directory, and this has completely indexed and synced with no issues. However, for whatever reason, the second directory I have tried to add is only partially indexing - of 90 subfolders, only 9 are actually picked up by btsync. I have checked, and permissions are identical, and there is nothing in .syncignore that should be causing this. The file count is high due to lots of small text files - indexing stops at 7000-ish (those 9 folders with way more to go) and then reports that it is complete. The only thing the log tells me is 'Loaded folder...' - no errors reported or anything. Is there some kind of folder level limit, or file count limit causing this? Where can I go from here? thanks, Ils
