  1. I works behind proxy that allow connect only to 80 (http) and 443 (https) ports. I see that https://config.resilio.com/sync.conf does not contain any tracker or relay with http (80) or https (443) ports. How can I connect to my shares at work with such proxy?
  2. Hi everyone, I have been using Resilio Sync for quite some time now and everything worked just fine until last week when I saw there was no syncing, no peer connection. Maybe a Windows 10 Pro update caused it, maybe the router, maybe the NAS, maybe the antivirus-firewall, I don't know, not yet anyway. I am using R Sync on an Asustor NAS (apk v2.4.4.) and on several computers (v2.5.10, now updated to 2.5.12). I only have local syncing so I have so far stayed away from relay and tracker servers. However, and this is where I definitely made a mistake, last week, becoming increasingly frustrated w
  3. To work in company environments there is no solution implemented to work without ports. Because in the most of companys only the ports 80 and 443 are open, as visitor there is no possibility to connect to the own BTsync network, also not over Relay servers.
  4. My case: Home PC > WiFi router (NAT) > Internet < Windows ISA (NAT) < Work PC Wich ports should be openned on both NATs?
  5. Hello, is it really necessary to have a static port number? If not please change it to a random one like in utorrent. This should make it harder to be blocked by local firewalls (ie. chinese GFW). As a little extra this port can change every x minutes and switch between udp and tcp. or misuse common ports like 21, 25, 80, ... I am using torrent sync to backing up domains from a linux server. The program has a --dump-sample-config parameter. But it would be extremly nice to convert these binary config data that only can be changed via the web ui to a text like for reusing it on other masch
  6. I manage a dedicated server (ubuntu lts), standing in an computing center, with several btsync shares running (without problems). The listening port is 28174, but netstat tells me that there are some other ports opened by btsync... can someone explain me for what there are needed, and maybe how i can close them if I don't need the corresponding feature? netstat -npl |grep btsynctcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:28174 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 7003/btsync-daemonudp 0 0 X.X.X.X:5351 0.0.0.0:* 7003/btsync-daemonudp 0 0 0.
  7. Hi, I've recently come across bit torrent sync and I am really excited. I've been using dropbox but have outgrown it now with almost 1 TB of storage and other cloud synchronisation services are really expensive. I have installed it on my desktop PC and on Windows 2012 server and its working absolutely fine. I also have another server which is used to broadcast online radio which is a very powerful and secure server with a raid hard drive for backup and so I want to install it onto this Linux platform. I'm not the most knowledgeable person when it comes to Linux but with the GUI interface I
  8. Hi. everyone, I've been using BTSync on several devices for a week and never had any problems — everything works fine. The only problem appears when I try to use BTSync on my work — it does not start syncing and can't show any connected devices. Assuming the fact we have all the ports closed, except especially opened, I support the problem is in ports. So, the question is: what ports TCP/UDP should be opened for BTSync to work? Thanks in advance.
