  1. I cant get sync to work with "Camera Backup" folders. I want to sync an "Camera Backup" from an Android device to an Raspberrypi running raspbian using an config file. Syncing the "Camera Backup" to an desktop pc with windows and without config-file works perfectly fine, also other "normal" folders on the raspberrypi are beeing synced perfectly even with the said Android device. Here is my config, with changed values for posting: { "device_name": "HOSTNAME", "use_upnp" : true, "download_limit" : 8000, "upload_limit" : 500, "shared_folders" : [ { "secret" : "SECRET", // required field - use --generate-secret in command line to c$ "dir" : "FOLDERPATH", // * required field "use_relay_server" : true, // use relay server when direct connection fails "use_tracker" : true, "search_lan" : true, "use_sync_trash" : true, // enable SyncArchive to store files deleted on remote devices "overwrite_changes" : true // restore modified files to original version, ONLY for Read-Only folders } .... what am i missing?
  2. Hey Firstly, please pass on my thanks to your engineers, looks like Rsilio sync runs really efficiently on OSMC running on my Pi. Good job and horray, Nice not to be on an obscure 2.0.93 version to get low CPU usage. My question is this....where is the .conf file which is generated when i first install Sync, and can i edit it carte blanche? I figure there must be a config file somewhere I can tweak. I've reviewed https://help.getsync.com/hc/en-us/articles/206664690-Sync-Storage-folder which suggests in could be in either: /var/lib/resilio-sync if launched as default rslsync user (i think this the default, and how mine almost certainly appears to be running, but i can't find config file) /home/username/.config/resilio-sync/storage if launched as current user. (not the default when doing basic sudo apt-get install resilio-sync install and run) If i want to create a custom config do i need to download one as per instructions https://help.getsync.com/hc/en-us/articles/206178884-Running-Sync-in-configuration-mode, downloading sample config, then editing and storing in the /home path above? If the answer is yes, how do i then modify sync to run automatically as user rather than rslsync like it appears to with default 'out of the box config'? Is there another 'master' config I edit to point to the particular config i wish to load at startup? Sorry for the N00b questions. Cheers, Geoff.
  3. hi I need to rebuild a machine and would like to retain the sync ID of the original machine. Can I copy from old, then rebuild new and paste back in? If so, what files would I need to retain and replant in new? Cheers, Geoff.
  4. Hey. I'm syncing Camera folder from my Oneplus One phone (great phone btw!) between my laptop, desktop and Rpi with NAS network drive. First two work without any problems (my oneplus photos&vids appear both on laptop and desktop), but when pasting the key to Rpi's sync via webpanel, I'm getting the "pending approval" message, but notification doesnt appear on my oneplus one phone. Versions of Sync: Oneplus one = 1.4.56.0 Windows machines: 1.4.103 beta Rpi = 1.4.93 beta Thanks for any suggestions Qlex
