Hello, I clicked the + button and used "Create folder" to add my DCIM directory on my SD card to which my phone's camera saves all of my pictures. Initial sync made sure that all my photos are on my Desktop. Now that I've got them there, I moved (ie. deleted) them to another directory on my PC so they no longer exist (hence deleted) in the Resilio Sync directory. With Read/Write permissions, I would expect Sync to now delete this pictures from my Android device, but this didn't happen. What might I be doing wrong or did I not understand how Sync should work? Hi, I'm trying to get a grip on the basics of Sync. Simple and straightforward as the programme may seem, I still find it hard to understand some of the elementary details (which of course may well say something about me rather than about the software :-)). My question: once folders have been exchanged between (e.g.) a NAS and a computer, synchronisation set up, is it still possible to change the RO characteristics to RW of a certain folder on one of the machines (and vice versa i.e. RW to RO)? I haven't found the option so far... I appreciate your help. Thanks! Hans
In versions past, I was able to link a specific folder on my laptop with a specific (that is, a folder I specified) on my Android device. It seems that in version 1.4, I can specify a read-only folder on my android device, but I cannot specify a folder to synchronize (read-write). I haven't been able to find any information about this except for other people having the same problem. Is there a workaround? Is there some reason this had to be eliminated? Just to be clear, the flow I'd like is this, which was possible in earlier versions: Setup sync folder on PC, generate QR code/secret, scan QR code/type in secret on Nexus 7, choose folder on Nexus 7 for download of PC folder.
